Donation of Education Supplies to Primary School Children of LEA Dakwo

Arch-Vision workgroup Ltd continues to partner with Lovechild Education Support Initiative due to its efforts in promoting the education of underprivileged children. The initiative adopted Dakwo LEA School as part of its initiatives for improving the quality of education in public primary schools in Nigeria.

Educational supplies were donated to the students of Local Education Authority (LEA) Primary School, Dakwo Abuja FCT. The school is the only Government owned primary school in the Dakwo district and operates under Universal Basic Education Board, UBEB.

Students of this school live within the Dakwo village; while majority others are housemaids and dependants of families living in nearby estates including, SunnyVale Estate Abuja, Kabusa Gardens Estate and Valencia estate.

The director of Lovechild Initiative, Mrs Ibukunoluwa Oni officiated the handover of the school items to all the students in the school. The children received essential school supplies such as notebooks, pens, pencil, erasers and sharpeners to the pupils of the School.

These pupils, mainly from poor backgrounds do not have access to basic educational materials for learning. The timely supplies were welcome and a great morale booster even for their teachers.

Ibukunoluwa Oni said during the distribution that “we are doing this in response to the need of most of the children who come from less privileged homes”.

She added that “our efforts to help under privileged students with their education will keep increasing as more partners support our initiatives”.
The children were excited to receive these gifts and were able to use these notebooks to write and learn appropriately. Their teachers were very grateful as well.

At Arch-Vision Workgroup, our corporate social responsibility initiatives focus on two areas – Education and Service. These donations fall under our Education focus area aimed at inspiring children become lifelong learners, future leaders and catalysts for strong and healthy communities.
